With more than 50 years of experience in the construction industry, Geno Maniago brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as a consultant and expert witness.

Experience

• Expert witness in the areas of scaffolding erection and safety for the past 12 years
• Arbitrator, Disputes Review Board, representing American Subcontractor Association
• Divisional vice-president and branch manager, Waco Scaffolding & Equipment Company
• Responsible for all areas of operation including sales, pricing, bidding, budgets, collections, purchasing and supervision of all personnel
• Designed, erected and supervised scaffolding erection crews in eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania and West Virginia
• Designed forming and shoring systems
• Supervised and helped erect standard, Morgan, suspended and cantilevered scaffolds of all types including systems and tube and clamp scaffolding used in boiler repair and inspections
• Extensive knowledge and experience with manual and motorized rolling towers.
• Erected free-standing television towers for national sporting events
• Erected rolling towers for commercial and industrial projects
• Conducted scaffold and safety seminars for journeymen tradesmen, union and non-union apprenticeship programs and construction associations

• Purchasing and rental of equipment, scaffolding, tools and supplies for commercial, industrial and high-rise apartment construction, including areas of masonry, concrete, carpentry and rebar work

• Supervised up to 300 field personnel and coordinated jobs between the office and the field
